A 37-year-old worker has died on the spot and another was injured in an incident at an open-cast pit at the thermo-electric power station Maritza Iztok 2 on Sunday. The pit is part of Maritza Iztok coalfield and is located at the village of Troyanovo. The victim has been identified as Krassimir Mihailov. The worker, who suffered a fractured leg in the incident, has been hospitalized. His life is out of danger.
